format.im was built to solve a simple problem: everyday formatting and numbering tasks — like generating invoice numbers — shouldn't require installing software, creating an account, or digging through spreadsheet formulas.
What we build
We build free, browser-based formatting tools for freelancers, small business owners, developers, and accounting teams who need quick, reliable results without friction.
Our first tool, the Invoice Number Generator, lets you create sequential, date-based, client-coded, or fully custom invoice number sequences in seconds — with export options for Excel, CSV, and common programming workflows including PHP, Python, and Django.
Why we built this

- No data collection from your inputs. The values you type into our tools stay on your device — we don't store or see them.
- Practical, not bloated. We build focused tools that do one job well, rather than cramming every feature into one confusing interface.
What's next
